Toning down Nylon Webbing
I bought some hot pink nylon webbing from here: http://www.strapworks.com/Flat_Nylon_Webbing_p/fnw2.htm
The webbing is much more flourescent in person than what I saw on the website. Is there a way to tone down the color or intensity? I was thinking of using bleach or even rit color remover, but I don't know how effective this would be on nylon. |

you have to be careful because nylon is much more delicate as a fiber than polyester
You can do swatch test (cut small pieces of the fabric/strapping and do different chemical/physical/etc. tests to them) to see if those would effect the color but overall I would say just find some in a softer color and see if you can get a swatch first from the company rather than yardage...That way before you spend a ton on the wrong color, you can see if the color works first.

You may need to color balance your monitor, google it. or you may just need a new monitor.
