Smile Good Temporary Hair Dye?

For my Beyond Birthday cosplay I need some temporary black hair dye. I have the spray can kind that I used for my Jeff the Killer cosplay, but it's hard to apply it to all of the hair. I'll either need to put it on before school, or the day before I cosplay. So it either needs to be easy, or it needs to stay in and not get black all over my face. Any suggestions?

Get a wig. The spray stuff is terrible, and you won't get the look you want long term with your regular hair.

Skyrim Casual: 30 % Done!
Kaylee Frye (Firefly): 40% Done!
Jem Carstairs, Oswin Oswald, Magnus Bane, Pikachu, Trainer White: Done!

You could try Manic Panic Raven (black) hair colour. Most of their colours last between 2 to 4 weeks, and only wash out with moisture. So as long as you're not scrubbing your hair while dancing in the rain you're good.

I've both dyed my hair and used wigs for years. Wigs are a million times easier and you are much more likely to get the exact color you want without damaging your hair. If you get something heat-resistant, you can re-style and re-use them for many years (if you are gentle and nice to them.) I recommend Arda wigs. (I'm actually wearing an Arda hairpiece right now because I felt like having blue bangs today. Tomorrow, my hair can be another color with little fuss! )

There really aren't any good temporary dyes, not even Manic Panic. I dyed my hair magenta last year (let's call it an experimental phase XD) and it was a pain. That stuff rubbed off on all of my clothes (ruining some) and all over my skin. I even noticed a couple days after that my white phone had turned pink and I could NOT get that stuff off.

So yeah, for the sake of not ruining things you own and having parts of your skin turn gray for awhile, I would just buy a wig. If you're concerned about arrival time, ordering from US sellers like Arda and Epic Cosplay will get you a wig within days. And if you ever want to do the cosplay again, you won't have to screw up your hair/clothes/skin/belongings every time.

(Also, I love that you're cosplaying from a Slender-series!)

Invest in a wig. seriously.

The temporary crap gets EVERYWHERE!! It flakes and chips and is a pain to use! It doesnt look natural and its really uneven! And it gets expensive over time if you continue to use it

Manic Panic is good, and it will wash out in about 3 nights if you use dandruff shampoo every night.
Upcoming cons!
•Zenkaikon 2016 (?)
•Anthrocon 2016
See you there ♡
