What glue would work best?
I will be attending an anime convention this week and I was wondering what glue I should use to keep the ribbon on my katana's sheath stiff since the katana tends to slip out of my waist. I decided to glue the ribbon onto the sheath.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, I am talking about the ribbon tied onto the sheath of the katana: http://media.ebaumsworld.com/picture.../katana001.jpg I think the ribbon is made out of cotton. The sheath is made out of wood. Thank you.

maybe some Gorilla Wood Glue. but dont use too much cuz it expands when it dries. just in case, i suggest u test it out with a piece of painted wood and cotton if you've got any lying around in ur house.

Hot glue isnt always the best solution. If left in a car or such where heat gets to it, it will no longer hold. I.E. A staff I made had hot glue and it fell apart.

I Second gorilla glue. I say this because I have actually DONE it and know for a fact it works..
Had to glue the ribbon of my friends' katana to the sheath for the same exact reason lol
