Just saw photos of a cosplayer in the same costume I'm making now. Suddenly questioning everything I've done with it so far (including hours of altering and sacrificing accuracy for comfort).

Every time I start uploading photos on this site I remember how much of a pain it is. I love many things about this site. The photo system is so not one of them.

My parents should know better than bringing me to Fabricland with them. While they went to get curtains I ended up picking up a bunch of stuff for cosplays for next year. XD I got a pattern for Morgiana along with some on clearance white chiffon. I also got a ton of different colors of RIT dye to use for Chizuru.
Now I guess I'm going to have to look up on tutorials on fabric dying so I don't botch this up. I'm so afraid I'm going to ruin the sleeves. T_T

My friend lent me a bucket to dye fabric because I really don't want to dye my bathtub... Now to finish up with the pattern so I can cut then dye the fabric. It's not big enough to fit all 12 yards of fabric...
Though, I kinda wish to get the fabric for the linning first and cut it out there just to test it out....

I really need to buy wigs and find decent reference pictures. Unfortunately, Freedert is horribly obscure, so I'm probably going to have to go back and watch the anime for some decent references.

I had a breakthrough for Yusuke pants.
Harem Pants. They sell them on ebay for cheap and I can easily make cuff for the legs and the belt. This is most pleasing for me.

Instead of Arda's Candy Striper in Melody, maybe I should get a long base wig in a different purple (I'm looking at one from Classe's Sara line right now) and sew in wefts for the blonde and pink parts of Cadance's hair? As nice as the Melody is, I've always been a little bothered by that purple.

Anyone else run into that moment where you're pretty sure you got the wrong sort of fabric but have to just use it anyway? Ugh...just my luck. Oh well..I can make the best of this...I think.

Just figured out which wig to get for Lion Ushiromiya from Arda. I am a happy girl. Going to have to do some cutting, but my mom said she's fine to help. I may be a newb, but no other way to get experience with wigs other than trying it out.

Weeping over how much fabric men's shirts actually use. I NEED printed fabric from Spoonflower, but don't want to spend $80+ on 4 yards of fabric. ;_;
