Looking for a Clear Thermoplastic!

Hi there! I'm working on a cosplay, and I'm in need of a clear thermoplastic that can be heated and molded with a heat gun, much like wonderflex, but clear.
Thanks in advance!

If you can get PETG in a thin thickness you should be able to form it with a heatgun.

Don't hold me to it but could possibly use http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-25ec...&storeId=10051 . I've seen people use it with vacuum forming, but not sure how well it would take to a heat gun.

I'm not entirely sure what you can use, but I'm fairly sure polystyrene wouldn't work very well-- unless it was very, very thin. I don't think a heat gun would get hot enough to mold it, but I might be wrong. Vacuum forms get very, very hot, much hotter than I believe a heat gun can.
I've never tried it myself, though. Now I'm curious...

Do you have a TAP Plastics in your area? If you do, you could stop there and they may be able to offer you some advice.

Heatguns reach a temperature of at least 1000F. Vacuforming machines are closer to 400F. The difference is that vacuforming machines apply heat over the entire surface. Heat guns only heat one spot, so you need to move it constantly.
