Kirito Coat Pattern

I'm wanting to do a cosplay of Kirito from Sword Art Online. I'm at the painting stage for the swords (still must make the scabbards/holster, shoes, and coat). Of these, the coat is going to be the most difficult for me to do. The coat is long (mid-calf length), and I cannot find a suitable pattern to lengthen/alter to make it. If anyone knows a potential pattern, please let me know.

Here's a set of pictures to go from:

Simplicity has a Matrix-esque costume coat pattern that would be perfect, all you need to do is add all the trim details.

The link leads to a product not found now

Does anyone else have a similar pattern?

http://www.simplicity.com/p-1806-men-costumes.aspx The coat from this pattern might work with some adaptation. You'll need to lengthen it and change the collar, plus some other tweaks I'm sure.

Is Simplicity 5386 discontinued? Wow, I thought it would never go away.

If it's discontinued, check in the "out of print" section of Simplicity's site or search the web specifically for 5386 - there are TONS of used/out of print pattern dealers on the internets, and you can probably buy it for dirt cheap from almost any of them.
