I'm working on a Skull Kid cosplay from Majoras Mask but it's the most complicated cosplay I've ever done by far and I'm getting really frustrated but I'm hoping too make a journey cosplay too if I have time and funds.

Punching my needle through a pair of pleather boots and another layer of pleather is damn hard on my fingers. Even with a thimble. THANKFULLY I'm half done now.

Awesome! I did Skull Kid a 2 years ago and it was a hit. If you break it down it's not so bad

I have never worked with pleather, but I am working with vinyl and I use a knife to pre-punch the holes.

If I had something needle-sized to pre-punch holes it'd be awesome. But for now I just have to take the boot mod a few stitxhes at a time, shake out fingers, repeat. Oooh, next week I get the wiring and LED strips attached to the armour.... I still need to go out and buy a heavy frosted shower curtain for diffusing fabric. Fortunately if I also need a white backing, I've got a big white sheet set with plenty left on it.

I'm mostly having trouble with the hat, I'm having trouble not being too critical of it and needing everything exactly perfect.

I have just started to put together this years costumes, thankfully my mother is a wonderful seamstress and she is is helping with them. I would love to meet up and hang out with people, always looking for friends at the con.

Ok, ok. Tiny preview image of the head and jacket. The pants are a surprise as I can't photograph my whole body.

yes the wig was out of place AND this system automatically mirrors the image. my horns are not backwards, nor are my paws.
