Research is time consuming enough and having everything in one spot helps. I'm glad I could help out with the weapons ref, it's often the hardest thing to find good ref for.

I have yet to try out the hood pattern but it looks good! The Aveline pattern is a nice bonus too! Aveline should have her own resource thread seriously. XD

I'm having big time trouble with the leggins...

I got a lot of leather, but no matter how I strip this around my legs, it just doesnt look like Connor's Leggins...
Could someone enlighten me how this is supposed to be done? I'm desperate over here...

I wish to cosplay Ratohnhaké:ton, or pre-assassin Connor/Young Connor (not child). But finding good reference pictures that show his full outfit and gear is murder. -_-;
I don't plan on using an actual pattern, more making it from just looking at it. If anyone has any thorough pictures of that outfit, I would love you forever if you could link me them.

so I'm working on a Connor Kenway costume... and I pulled a noob and tried to use cotton for the hood. In defense, I was broke and had to cut up one of my brother's shirts. Does anyone know a way to make the cotton any stiffer, or do I need to start over. P.S. yes i am a girl. yes i am cosplaying Connor. deal with it.

I am also busy with my Connor Kenway costume. But I think it could be wolf claws instead of bear claws as well. I was looking at the website from Tandy Leather, and I saw this:

The curve of the claw is less then the bear claws. What do you guys think?

I looked at the site you provided, and I think I have the solution. From what I understand, this would be perfect. It has the right shape, color, and length, as what is seen in-game. So I hope that helps somewhat, and thank you for showing this site, I will definitely be ordering from them when I get started on the necklace.

What I am doing is making everything more fitted around the waist. Perhaps have the waistcoat under bust??? link I don't really know, I need to sketch some concepts up and have some criticism on them...

For my hair (because I have quite dark brown hair) I am adding the braid has has and either having my hair in a french plait (braid) or have half up half down or... Letting it free and wild!

I think I have the solution for your problem. I looked at the site, which is a great site, thanks for sharing, and I found this which I think matches the color, length, and curvature of the claws on Connor's necklace almost spot-on.
