Describe your Experience.
Excellent communication between commissioner and customer, any questions I had were quickly answered. The costume was so much more than I could have imagined and it fit perfectly and looked amazing. Anna cared about my opinions on my costume and asked about things she wasn't certain about, which made me feel like she genuinely cared about making the costume perfectly. She sent progress photos throughout the timeline and I was never disappointed with what I saw. The costume wasn't made exactly like the original character's, but it actually turned out much nicer. Definitely worth the price and time, would gladly commission Anna G. again!

This was one of the most nervewracking costumes for me to get, since it was vital to how my plans for the year would go and is unlike any costume I've had before. Now, as a backstory, this is my 4th time ordering from this seller. They have always been phenomenal, however, this time fell short of my expectations of them.

The first minor complaint I have is that I never received an email of when it was shipped. This seems really silly to worry about, and I think this is really just a matter of them rushing to get every order through so that they can celebrate the Chinese new year, so I won't give them a penalty for that.

I'll also say that quality isn't and has never been an issue. They never cease to stun me with getting such minor little details right in their costumes, and all of them are absolutely perfect quality-wise. What they have always had a problem with is sizing, and this is my worst experience with it yet.

The jumper skirt is far too tight at the bottom, and somehow loose at the top. The shirt fits perfectly, and the cravat is really tight around my neck. I had to seriously squeeze myself into the costume, and no doubt wearing some shorts under this will be an absolute necessity. I will hand it to them with the length, though; I understand that they did it for accuracy. Just note that the length of the skirt you see in the picture is the length of what you get. As far as it being so tight, I think it's that there is a small belt that goes around the skirt near the bottom, and they just honestly didn't know how to do it without accidentally making it fit tightly. However, it's part of their job and they need to learn how to do it.

Final Grade: B+ The costume is well-made and despite the fitting problems, it's still wearable. It's uncomfortable, but not enough to warrant giving them a bad grade for it. Keep in mind, this is the WORST experience I've had with them so far, and a lot of these things are rather easily fixable and will just take some time and trial and error. What you see in the picture is exactly what you're going to get, and you'll get it in a timely manner, there just may be a couple of little issues for you to sort out afterwards.

PROS : Communication was excellent, she constantly checked up and she's one of those commissioners who actually includes you in the decision-making progress of fabrics, little details, etc...
Finished product was excellent, fit perfectly, arrived way before my deadline (which is awesome), and the pricing was VERY fair. The quality was good, all lines were serged and hemmed nicely, no stray threads or fraying edges! I would definitely commission something again in the future. ^_^

CONS : None really. :>

One thing I couldn't say was the "worst" about her, she was very kind and honest and up to date with the progress of my wig. I had supplied her with plenty of reference photos and she gave me a price quote of $50. I had never had anyone in the US create my wig, but seeing as she was very good with her prices I decided to give it a shot. Sadly, when she did email me photos I felt they looked nothing like Belle. She defended her actions and said her mother liked it. But for myself, it was not up to par. And I asked for a refund, she was fine with that but I'd have to wait.

Then we came up with a solution that she could use the money I gave her to make a Sailor Moon wig. Since the one I bought from eBay was falling apart. Sadly, she made excuses about her time and was unable to do so. I then asked for a refund since I felt that I could not trust her. I also felt that though she works as a Dishwasher, her time and money management was impossible to make ends meet.

Honestly, she did refund back. Even though, it was $60 I gave her, she refunded me at least $50, which I guess is only fair.

Final Grade: C- For a wig that was never up to snuff or could not find ways to make a wig happen. I hope she can learn next time in the future to better time and money manage, as it is a business and it should be respected and honored as one. At least she always kept me informed and refunded me promptly and everything.

Pros: Super fast shipping. Especially since shipping was free.

Cons: None with the seller. See my comments about the wig.

Comments: The wig is a little on the small side. But has combs in the front and back so that helps a lot. The inside of the wig cap sort of peaks out underneath the ponytails. (Sort of like the hair was being pulled to far back or too tightly) Buns need some minor styling.
But overall not a bad price for this type of wig.

Timeline: Pfffft, from the time he got it to the time he sent it, probably, two days? He worked really fast!
Pros: He was ALWAYS in contact with me! Like, there wasn't a day we weren't talking while I waited for my commission. Like I said, really fast with his work and it looks great! Really nice and yeah, probably the best commissioner I've ever commissioned!
Cons: Nothing! Seriously, this guy is awesome!
Comments: I would totally commission this guy again whenever I need it! He also gave me advice for when I want to learn how to style my own wig.

Describe your Experience:
Pros: I was constantly in contact with him, whether it was via email or text. He provided me with timely updates as I had requested. When he gave me a rough deadline of how long it would take him to finish the commission, he was spot-on.

Cons: None really.

Comments: I would definitely return to him for future commissions, and I would also highly recommend him to anyone who's seeking some kind of commission.

Pros
- The general size was correct, but not much can go wrong with a kimono since it's not very tight-fitting.
- The stitching itself was not bad.

Cons
Well, where to start? First, it takes forever until your costume arrives. I was aware of that beforehand, however, but it certainly doesn't help.

Then there are the problems with the costume itself.
- I clearly asked for a shade of purple. I got a kimono that could be easily mistaken for lavender.
- The pink sash was way too bright, but this is something I was willing to overlook.
- The sash was at least half a meter too short. When going around my middle once and making a bow, the ends were to reach my ankles, but they barely reached my knees. Furtermore, it was terrible to tie with a presentable looking bow considering its length. Thirdly, the fabric would naturally tie together when knotting it which looked ugly, and the knot was loosening within 5 minutes. It would have been better had they created a waistband with a separate bow attached.
- The double borders on a kimono? They ended halfway on the garment while they should have clearly ran the whole way (see image).

Then we get to the best part: their customer service! Naturally, I wasn't very pleased so I emailed them clearly listing my problems.
- At first, they kept avoiding my concerns. They kept asking for pictures of measurements, which I supplied, but they were not deemed clear enough. Note that the measurements were not even the problem, which took several emails to point out.
- Not addressing my concerns properly. It took a large amount of messages before they would even address one of my concerns, and I hardly believe it is due to their lack of good English skills.
- The colour issue was addressed by a "it is similar enough and that's that", including emoticons such as ">.>'.
- They did offer to redo the sash, but considering the deadline and the fact that there were also holidays in-between, it would never have arrived in time. My concern regarding the arrival was ignored.
- The issue of the borders on the kimono was not even addressed despite the fact that I pointed it out multiple times.
- Also, they generally took forever to reply, if they did at all. It took multiple emails, caps lock, bolding and underlining certain parts and Paypal threats before they would bother to send something back. And when they did, they did not even address most of what was in my email.
- I stated clearly that I wanted a refund and why, which was never even addressed. Unsurprisingly, I never got one either. The Paypal term was already over.

Grade: D
Score would have been higher had their communication and they way they addressed my problems been more to my satisfaction. As it is, I will never buy anything from them again.

I ordered it custom sized, which cost 5 USD extra.

Pros
- I asked them to change the bows to purple, which they did.
- The materials used are amazing and practical. It's not flimsy or cheap looking, and the amount of details in the costume is amazing. It's also very complete, as it included the leggings and the soulgem. I was a little worried whether the leggings would fit or not, but they fit perfectly!
- Well-made. I didn't see any loose threads or anything.
- It completely matches the provided reference material (which is very detailed!).
- Great communication: they reply very quickly and they had kept me updated about everything!

Cons
- The bow on the back was attached with a safety pin, and the bow on the front was just the ribbon, I had to figure out how to tie it and attach it to the costume myself. Nothing I couldn't fix myself, though.
- The skirt was slightly too long and slightly too big, but I solved it by "overturning" the waistband which made it a little tighter and shorter, and it wasn't visible with the white shirt covering it. It was only a matter of one cm, so nothing serious.

Final Grade: A
It's a shame they don't take any commissions off images, though.

Timeline: Ordered August 4, 2012, on the promise that it would take approximately 2-3 weeks to ship. As of December 4, 2012, I have not received the corset.

Pros, Cons: There are no pros to this transaction! The seller never acknowledged my order to begin with, even though I specifically stated I would like the corset before Labor Day so I could wear it to Dragon*Con. I sent an email about 2 weeks after purchase, asking if it would be done in time for D*C, and received a response saying no. I got one more email a month later apologizing for the delay and saying that they would give me a free "Xenomorph necklace" to make up for it. The only other contact I've seen was public postings on their Facebook page: one post said that there had been problems with the base corsets they ordered, and the second post was November 1st, when they said they would be finishing up the corsets within the week. It is a month after that post and I've received nothing- no response, no refund, no corset. Carlos Blanchard has dropped off the face of the earth.

Final Grade: F

Please note that Carlos is the cosplay director for Florida Super Con 2013. BE VERY CAREFUL! If he can scam five people out of $250 each with this corset, there's no telling what he's capable of.

I just wanted to add a quick update to this: after Yaya Han, the head of Florida SuperCon, and my lawyer all got involved, Carlos refunded my money in a timely manner, in early December 2012. I believe it was another 2 months before he delivered the four remaining corsets to their purchasers. As of February 7, 2013, Rage Custom Creations has apparently shut down operations. The story is that FOX contacted them and gave them a cease-and-desist for using the Alien characters.
