Frankly, I'm curious because while that picture made my own grandmother do a double take, a kid at school saw it today and said that I look nothing like a guy and just proved his point about how I could never play a male character for my English class' Shakespeare unit.

Quinn: I do think you pass, and you were correct in labeling him as a douche. Unless he pointed out anything specifically, chances are he just said that so he could get the part.
When people are aware that someone is female, or if you're looking at your own picture, the more feminine traits stand out. Small hands, small feet, eyebrow shape, the way you hold yourself, things like that. You're a fine crossplayer, and he's just an ass.

Akune: Link is a girly man, so I'd say you pass for him. If you want to do a more masculine character, I'd suggest not making your eyebrows so, what's the word... Shapey on the bottom. Pointy. Do a search for men's faces on Google and you'll notice that pretty much all of the guys' eyebrows are round on the bottom.

Looks good to me but I don't know the character. No criticisms but you could try a little extra eyebrow shaping if you are willing to do that (but it's not vital or anything), and something I might be tempted to try playing with is using lip liner to fill out your bottom lip more?

Those are cute, I don't know much about Aristrocrat though. The gothic/kuro outfit looks nice, although I might suggest sticking to flats instead of heels if you are taller.
I can't really see your profile pic very well though because my screen is really small.

ya i need to put a bigger one up and the aristocrat one a friend took at a gala and its too dang small too. I will have way more pictures soon at the big gala coming up. Eventually when my family line is sorted I will hold a legal Lady title too as I am a descendant of the earls. It will make it even more authentic doing that stuff lol

I want for people to look at me and go yup that's a dude and not question my gender. Okay, I'm getting ready to do Akihiko from Persona 3. I don't have his costume and a binder yet. Just a wig and some make up I bought specificly to make myself look more masculine. I am naturally a female and was wondering if I look passable? Just from these head and shoulder pictures. I think I may have forgotten to crop out part of my boobs in one unless I didn't upload those but tell me what you think, any suggestion or any thing would be great! Also, ignore my wig, I ordered a new one. I wanted to make the wig as short as possible but I cut it too short so my natural dark hair pokes out in some areas.

Sootyowl: I don't know if you pass, probably would be able to tell if the pictures were larger/clearer, but a blind look had me wondering which way you were trying to cross. Whatever that says.


Kawaii Pocky: Passing is going to be tough for you because you have large eyes, a small mouth, and a round face. Perfect anime girl proportions, not an easy fit for dudes.
Are you wearing black eyeliner? I have a terrible eye for makeup, but if you are, I'd suggest switching to brown when crossplaying. I've heard it works a lot better than black, though I've never tried it myself. I'd also suggest not going quite so heavy on the lip makeup, if you need it at all. You lucked out there, I think.

It is brown eye liner. I tried blending it so it wasn't so dark. It's hard finding matte eyeshadow. I'm gonna maybe see if I can find some lighter matte brown eyeshadow. This was really just a test run.

He's pretty androgynous, so hopefully I could pass? I haven't ever cosplayed, so I don't have any example photos except for my regular self.

Do think it would be okay? I'm a girl and have dark-ish skin (a ever present golden tan).

Okay, my NEW Akihiko wig. I think it helps a lot, but I didn't do any masculine make up or any thing. Just regular make up. I was wearing my jacket and scarf I usually wear out and I thought it helped to hide my curvy figure a bit. Experimented with posing but I dunno, I'm not a master at this or any thing.

There's lots of pics but the poses are pretty similar. If you want to look at more of them just look at the album. Basically I tried slouching, standing with my legs apart, standing at an angle to hide my bust since I don't have my binder yet. Let me know if it's atleast an improvement, going to be ordering my binder next so I can experiment more once I get it.

@Kawaii Pocky: I think you are going great so far! The posing looks good. (You're definelty right about the coat! I thought you had no girl chest!) I think if you do some male make-up, you'll look even better!
