Question wig colors/makeup

So basically last year I discovered that I DO NOT look good in a black wig With that said, I'm looking to do a Pinkie Pie cosplay and am nervous about the wig not looking good with my face. Are their any sort of makeup of styling tips to making a wig match your face?

You can order different swatches of wigs to see which color matches your face and your character. (: Arda sells single swatches for their color rings, you could just order the pink ones and see how they look with your skin tone. (:

Depending on what shade of pink you choose, keep the brows 1-2 shades darker. This will compliment your wig without looking garish. It also helps to think of complimentary shades for makeup, not necessarily matching.

If your wig is a warm pink, use warm shades of makeup. Colors like peachy pinks, golds, coppers, warm rose, warm plum/berries, etc.
If your wig is cool, think cool pinks, cool purples, navy eye liner instead of black, etc. Revlon "Lollipop" lip butter is nice cool pink.

And I agree about trying Arda's swatches. Their wigs are affordable and high quality. Also, they are possibly easier to resell as their value is high. Good luck and hope this helps a little!
