I am currently watching the anime (and LOVING it!) As such, I have decided on a Kuma cosplay! How might I make his original bear-like form? I was thinking of painting a jumpsuit, but unsure where to get plain white ones...

Note: I heard he has another form, but I haven't gotten to that episode yet. Please don't spoil it for me! Once I see it I'll decide which to wear.

i'm working on a mitsuru cosplay from persona 3 and trying to work on my boyfriends akihiko cosplay from 3 as well so far all i need for mine is a wig since i recently found a pair of boots like hers at my work.

Me and my friends are doing a Persona group. I'm going as Akihiko from P3, and my friend is going as Mitsuru from P3, and I think her husband is going as the protag from P4, Yuu. It'll be my first time crossplaying. Excited and nervous at the same time. And I forgot about the anime, I should check it out. I've heard good things about it.

I plan on cosplaying Yosuke Hanamura's winter casual, and Chie Satonaka from Persona 4 (is best Persona.)

I discovered the Persona series by accident in Nov. 2012 when using a picture of Yosuke Hanamura for a character that I play elsewhere. After a bit, I wondered who that picture was, googled it. ....and it snowballed downhill from there. I'm in love with the animated series, and have seen the entire thing (I couldn't wait for them to dub it in English, so I found it subbed. OMG, I was in tears at the --you know what-- part.) Need more Persona 4!

Yosuke's my favorite character, so, I just finished his winter casual outift.

Cosplay construction notes: I had the army-green pants and brown boots (Roxy) already from the previous year (I'm a bicycle commuter, so I wear skinny jeans tucked into boots to keep the hem of my pants from snagging on the chain), the headphones are a pair of my old crappy Colby's that I painted (I wear headphones all the time anyway because people on the bus annoy me, and there's nothing like the wind in your hair while riding with tunes in your ears. I need to escape the world, too.), added a collar to an orange exorcise shirt (again, cyclist), and made the jacket by altering an old white windbreaker. I hand stitched EVERYTHING because someone didn't get me a sewing machine for Christmas. *Eyes parents.* I added the stripes, cuffs on the sleeves, and the fur. The fur was the painful part only because it's old fur. Found and old collar from a vintage 2nd had store. I settled on old real fur because sweat+faux fur = rash and general nasty itches.

I now have a sweet, comfortable jacket that I can wear year round --unless it's 105 again this year. >.<

I also plan on cosplaying Chie since I have the legs for it. Both of these will be worn an AX2013 in L.A. (And I may resurrect my Rainbow Dash cosplay simply for the 3 foot wings. (That was a whole different ball of headaches to create in 2011.)

The only thing I can't find, and have no idea how to make is the shoulder patch for the jacket. Does anyone have any ideas, please?

But what is the anime about? Is it the same story from 4? I haven't taken sometome to watch the anime. I've only played the game.

The anime is the same as the game. It's an adaptation.

It follows elements of the game really well; from the expression emoticons (like the tear drop and the wavy lines) to the passage of time being in the form of a calendar.
This will be my first attempt at cross-cosplay. Here's hoping I don't screw it up.

Okay, was just curious because it's just like turning a manga into an anime, some times the anime can be waaaaaaaaaaaaay different and cut out major scenes and blah blah.

I cosplayed Ken Amada Dark Hour Uniform from Persona 3 for Anime Vegas 2011.

Feverishly awaiting the Persona 3 movie so I can break out my Ken again. Maybe more people will actually know who I am this time. xD
But the one's that did were oh so special for knowing. <3

225 stitches on the jacket so far, and it's got the arms and one of the back lines left to go.

175 stitches on the pants. =400 white stitches SO FAR. O_O And lots of blood.

I gave that jacket stitches. Jackets love stitches.

Didn't realize Persona finally had its own little forum. 8D Hiiiii allll. I'm a Chie cosplayer and Minako/Hamuko/Mshe of P3P cosplayer. :3 I'm currently in the process of cutting Chie's wig to make it look as close as possible to her hair length and buying Mshe a wig because... well I was too poor to buy a wig then. 8D But now I really want to bring out my Mshe again. :3 AND POSSIBLY in the near future, remake Chie's jacket again because.... I really didn't know what I was doing. Hahaha.
