I was only there breifly on Sunday, but I was the Dragonborn wandering around the stage area during the costume show. This is actually the outfit I was planning to wear to Con-G, and One big thing I learned at Faerie Fest is that I do NOT want to get worn out on the bus ride over. My time at Faerie fest was unfortunately very limited due to the amount of time I spent walking just trying to find the dern place ^ ^;

Planning ahead this time! Or at least trying to. I was hoping somebody would lend me their hotel room to change in in exchange for some of the room cost.

Anywho.... really 32 days? And I thought I would have my cosplays done early this year... pfft yea not looking that way.

ok, well i opted to stay at the best western since i'm footing the bill and $45+tax is a decent savings, I hope it's as close as you say it is?

Re:Hotels

There are still rooms available at the delta - we put more into our block if anyone is dying to stay in the same hotel.

The other hotel, The Best Western is right across the street and was our home our first two years so their accommodations are quite nice and they have a lower room cost to compensate for the 5 minute walk :P

sweet_kat22 - not sure which your situation is but you can also volunteer to help pay for a pass at the con assuming transportation and accommodation isn't an issue

Is that the price for a single person, or are you and someone else splitting the bill? I live in Brampton and would like to go for 2 days but I didn't want to get a hotel room for $100 or so a night, but driving would be 1 hour both ways. My last resort was to just go on Saturday, but since the weekend pass was so cheep I didn't want to pass up going a for at least friday and saturday.

that's the price difference, not the cost. I'm saving $45 by staying at the Best Western rather than the Delta. The total bill will be around $200.



I'm trying to convince my brother to come, I wanna stick him in a plaid shirt and not tell him he's Charming when I'm dressed as Emma. It's kinda crazy how similar he looks to Charming when you consider I'm somewhat similar to Emma and we're related. He has a bit of a thing for my friend that's going who could pull off Snow, but I'm having a hard time convincing her to wear a pink cardigan.

moving this feb money is going to that so far if i make more money i can go

As kind of a clarification about my previous post about looking for somebody to lend their hotel room for me to change into my costume, Even a room at the Best Western across the street would be adequate, and I am willing to pay a quarter of your room cost for the service. I'm really looking forward to this convention. I can't believe I'm almost done school in Guelph University, yet this is the first time I'll be going to this convention.
