I'm officially addicted to Downton Abbey!~ Just finished the first season, and onto season two. Soooo many dresses I want to make, and the parasols, and the hats *drools* I might just have a dresses through the ages theme for my costumes next year. I'm thinking Anna and the King, Pride and Prejudice (I totally want a bonnet!~) and Downton Abbey.

I got 4 yards of super nice bridal satin, 4 yards of lining, a half yard of some totally awesome Star Trek fabric, five patterns (normally $18.99/each!!~) and appliques for only $50. And squeeing with happiness right now!!~

I'm also re-making my Rarity dress, since I found an awesome pattern for a flouncy halter sundress with a petticoat and a large bow, and I plan on bedazzling some cutie mark appliques for a purple bolero.

Annnddd...Star Trek fabric and my Ice Queen base makeup arrived today!!~
Trek fabric is sooo going to be made into a bodice for a dress for casual change into at conventions

A lot of patterns were bought yesterday xD
I told my mom and my sisters about it so we went and got most of what we needed. My older sister didn't realize how much patterns really were xD

Someday later me and my older sister will be buying some star wars fabric to make a dress/skirt

I also unwittingly qualified for a 30% off total purchase coupon, and I'm wracking my brain trying to think of what to use it on 0.o I know I need a zipper but other than that just extras, such as maybe some white brocade for Rarity's bodice...hmmm...maybe some 1/4" lace to trim my Alice pinafore, extra cotton for the bottom layer of my Hobbit dress and the skirt for my Star Trek dress, and some extra gold trim to finish Merida. *gwah* that's all I can think of.

Erhm-Mer.Gerd...Downton Abbey is AMAZING! The characterization alone makes the series worth watching, since you *shocking for most series today* actually care what happens to the characters. And Maggie Smith saying "Put that in your pipe and smoke it" in an Edwardian piece. Made my day.

Haven't done a makeup test officially for Ice Queen yet, but I might do one tomorrow Dem eyebrows are crazy, lol. I plan on making them with sealed craft foam and glitter "frost."

I made sure to time myself, so that I'd be ready when I officially debut her, and the face alone took me an hour 0.o I'll probably add at least another for painting my neck/chest/upper back.

Gwarsh, this costume is gonna be crazy fun to get in character for :3

Link: thank-you!! I plan on re-making the brows by sealing them and adding the glitter next time around--they're pretty easy peasy and are light enough for eyelash glue :3
I also want to pick up the small swarvoski crystals for a finishing touch--wish the crazy amount of glitter on my eyes showed up better :/

Tulipe: I'm so redonkulously excited to get started on Scarlet once Wonder Con is over for our group

Other than that, I'm taking advantage of this dry, warm weather to make Ice Queen's tiara and necklace, as well as my new Supergirl belt I also just bought this wig to replace my Merida wig, since it's gotten so frizzy and wind-blown. It's the exact same style/brand, just about 10" longer and fuller, I'm even getting the exact same ginger shade.

@Ayaasan: I'm so excited for the group, you have no idea. xD I hope I can manage a good looking Rogue top, considering I'm only making the top and buying the other pieces. xD I also can't wait to work on Billy, especially since there's a new Young Avengers coming out everything has been them and I just want to make Billy so much.
