Progress wise, Rise: I ordered her wig today. Got most of her accessories (besides shoes), now got to work on the costume. Tomoe: bought his wig, tails and ears today. Again, just his costume. As for the other two, haven't touched yet but looking to get the wigs!

SakuraCon is awesome! There are tons of cool stuff to do. I go all three days. And I wish I could do 3 different cosplays. T.T but i definitely can't afford it. plus with my lack of sewing skills I have to commission for my costume. Hopefully I can find someone that is awesome at making costumes :3

I will be going as Rise as well. Twinsies! lol :P

I'll be at Sakuracon all weekend long. Still unsure about cosplays aside from Elizabeth from Bioshock Infinite. Maybe my Twilight Sparkle outfit from MLP: FIM. I'll be wandering around and primarily working at Yaya Han's booth all weekend. Be sure to stop by.

I'm not from the area so I was wondering how much money I should bring? (I have to eat/etc as well)

Aside from food and possible hotel fees the rest is up to you.
I usually bring $200 to cons to include food and souvenirs for the weekend, but always keep extra aside for emergencies. That's just me though.
Ask around for suggestions on where to eat or shop. Most times the locals will tell you the best, and least expensive, places to go.

Aside hotel fees and the likes, for the con itself (like food and merchandise), I usually bring $200. That covers parking (since I drive there), food & merchandise :3 Food ranges are $5-10 (for affordable ones). There are more expensive restaurants of course but I usually just eat the West Lake Centers Food court ^^

Not including hotel, and eating in the room (I used food stamps there) I had $400 and used about 300 in the aa and dh, and the rest on meals. This was between me and my dad. So alone I would say $200 should cover you. But outside the front doors and to the left on the other side of the stairs (you'll see) is a store with an ATM so you can just get more if you have a bank card..

I bring around $100 worth of spending money for food, goodies, etc. Since I've set that budget, though, I have yet to spend it all lol.
There's a lot of eateries near the convention center (including a Qdoba, which I discovered during my last trip to see the King Tut exhibit <3 <3 <3) that range in price, too, so you'll have lots of options on how you'll want to budget out your spending money.
