Need help defrizzing my cosplay wig

Ok hi there

recently (more like yesterday) I got a new wig, a Zatsune Miku Two Tail Wig to be exact, and i went to go brush it out gently and i somehow ended up with a knot. So last night/all day today i spent my time gently getting tangles out of the twin tails and i finally got all the tangles out but now im stuck with one twin tail being frizy on one side and smooth and silky on the other. Anyway to fix this? I can also post a picture of what it looks like for better help if needed o-o

Please help me. this is my first wig ever and i dont want it to be ruined right from the get-go

odds are its a cheap wig. the only way that you will be able to fix this depends on the wig. was it heat sensitive? if so take a straightener to it. if its not, then try the hot water method. but odds are that its not going to go back to normal......... this happens with cheaper wigs.....

it's a synthetic wig and i think it's heat resistant o-o

it's not a huge frizz like a big ball of fur but like the kind of frizz you get in your hair when you finished blow-drying your hair kind of frizz....if that makes sense

I heard horse tail detangler works wonders on wigs.... I cant vouch for its effectiveness though
Good Luck though!

its called main detangler but that wont help with frizziness. try the hot water boiling method. boil the water to right under 170 degree F. Then while the pigtails are attached to a towel rack or a part of the shower so that it hangs without touching. pour the hot water over and let dry.

can you link to the wig?

Yup! I've used it on my Stocking wig throughout the day at the con to keep it nice :>

I'm sure you could find it on Walmart, and I know that you can order it on Amazon.

If you don't want to (which i wouldn't understand why) try straightening it. A flatiron on heat-resistant synthetic hair will help smooth it out.
