Hi there, from useless Texas

I was informed that this was a fantastic site to talk about cosplay. I just recently got back into cosplay so I'm super rusty, haha. So I figure I'd come say hello and make some friends if at all possible.
I will be attending A-Kon, Anime fest, and aselia con this year. Maybe some others if I hear about anything else interesting.

I really don't know what else to say... soo..

Oh yeah, I'm a super big hair and make up fan and love to help out with those sort of things, so if you aren't exactly the best with make-up/hair let me know and I'd love to give you some advice if I can!

Cool, welcome to the site! I come here to get tips and talk about random cosplay crap, haha.

I just got back into cosplay as well, after a 6-7 month hiatus. I plan on attending A-kon and A-fest this year as well

Well you look pretty experienced with all of those cosplays! Very nice! I'm not nearly that talented and quite terrible at sewing, haha.

I'm not great at sewing either, I can only sew a few small things here and there. I'm more experienced at figuring out props and what not.

I just started trying to make props, figuring I would be better at that since I can sketch the designs.. Nope.. Those hot knifes are hard to use.

What do you make your props out of?

Mostly wood, cardboard, foam, epoxy...whatever I can get my hands on really. This year I'm going to learn to make props out of rigid foam.

You must teach me the ways of the prop making. I really want to get into it but I don't feel very crafty haha. Practice makes perfect though, right? lol
