Pattern Help

Hello loves, Ive been commissioned to make two costumes this year.

First is a Samurai Jack costume, which seems easy and simple enough, but I have had the hardest time finding a pattern designed for a man! So far I've pretty much settled on Simplicity 4080HH for this. The biggest issue is the sleeves, since his sleeves are fully attached and not a traditional Kimono sleeve... More like a bath robe? If any one has any thing to say about that, please do so. I need all the advice I can get!

Second, and much more stressful. Uncle Iroh. Dear old Uncle Iroh.
This Outfit

I don't even know where to begin.
The pants should be no problem at all. A simple harem type pant with elastic waist and cuffs.
But where on earth do you find a pattern for that jacket and top/thing?!?!?
I REALLY need some help on this one... I've been trying to figure it out for a week or two now...with no real luck :c

Thank you to everyone for reading this, and please please give me any and all suggestions/constructive criticism you may have!

It's been over a year since you've posted this. Have you had any luck figuring out the Iroh pattern? I'm trying to work on one myself for an upcoming con.
