Beginning Cosplayer
So, it's a possibility I get to go to a con with my friend in the past year (I've never been to one before, mind you). So, I'm tossing around the idea of cosplaying.

The one I was considering cosplaying is Olivier Mira Armstrong, since she's a favorite of mine, however, I was told by my friend that it probably is a bit complicated for a complete beginner, (And I don't have that much interest in cosplaying, tbh, but I'm still tossing the idea around). I'm willing to pay for a costume, wig, etc, provided I like what I'm doing. (Don't worry about prices guys). And so I would like suggestions on who I should cosplay, or any tips, etc. Thanks~ |

Hmm......... She's your fave character right?
well Go for it! =) All you need to remember is that you need your cosplay to fit your body. You can achieve just about anything with the right angles and cuts in the clothing. Honestly i don't think you're that over-weight at all (I'm much worse than you, believe me, and my fave character is a toothpick lol) So i think it would work out just fine! One thing to remember is that Cosplaying isn't something to get into very lightly. it IS expensive and it is rather addictive -in a good way. Since you're buying the costume it won't be too time consuming for you (i make my own cosplay myself) but you should think about the fact that you may be sinking a good $250-$400 into this. However going to a convention is super fun, i can't imagine not having fun at a con, especially if is a well-established one. Either way, just go to have fun. =) that's what these things are all about. I hope i've given you some good points to think about. =) |

I think you could pull off Olivier Mira Armstrong, the most important thing is that she is your fave ^^

Girl you are not fat at all, and you are totally GORGEOUS!
You can cosplay anyone you want, honestly. People can't tell you who you can and can't cosplay :>. The only thing that matters is that the character is special to you and you'll enjoy being them. Go for it! And have fun! |
