Stars- Ooh, that looks great so far!
As far as cons go, I'm not really sure! I hope to attend a couple this year, but I haven't made solid plans for any yet. Which cons are you planning on attending? Perhaps one on your list will be one I go to!

Thanks! Hopefully I'll be able to post more progress photos today!
I'll definitely be at Katsucon and Otakon for sure. I'm hoping to hit NYCC as well, but I'm not 100% sure that's a thing yet.

Hey guys! It's been awhile. I've been lurking on and off, but haven't had anything of my own to post in quite some time. Though here very soon I will be starting Kiss The Girl Ariel for the Disney group at Megacon! I have to put Candlehead on hold because I'm pretty broke. I have almost everything for KTG Ariel except the shirt.
![]() Also to all of you going to Katsu: Have tons of fun!!!! I've seen SO many posts about it lately I kind of wish I was going!!

My Merida wig is finished (check my gallery for photos), so I decided to leave the dress until I finish Punzie's embroidery. The first time I did some mistakes, so I'm going to study all the photos again for more accuracy.
PS: I'm still waiting for the answer, does anyone knows how can be the pattern of Eilonwy's skirt?

stars- That looks so gorgeous *-* Makes me want to remake mine properly x3
aeviking- It's soo long since I saw it so I really don't know if its 2. I would say 1 looking at it. I would go two routes with it. The way Cinderella's new dress at the park has the center panel pleated. One side is sewn in while the other side is pleated over it's seam. (sometimes it looks like its seperate) http://www.flickr.com/photos/peterpa...ss/8339990939/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/11956357@N07/8215969206/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/11956357@N07/8214887541/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/disney-...ey_cinderella/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/theverynk/8371012076/ or make the center seam really wide so it drapes more than the rest of the skirt. You can also add curtain weights into the seam of that panel to make it drape more ![]() On my note; Almost done with Wendy X3 Just need the sleeves, bow and zipper..oh and the hair bow but I'm still waiting for the ribbon to come in the mail @-@ ![]()

I am a little late... but better late then never. I even lurked a little on the page before.
LKD: That gradient dyed Aurora is SUPER cool!!! I am almost tempted to try something like that.... Although I have always loved the blue on her. :P Great find! And your Wendy is looking adorable of course! It looks almost complete. Suzie Blue: I can really understand the frustrations, but hang in there okay! Hopefully the rearranging you have been doing well help you take a nice break and start again with new motivation. Aeviking: Awesome job on your wig! That looks like it must have taken forever. What sort of technique did you use on it? As for your question, I wish I had an answer for you. Cosplay Update: I haven't given up on my Rapunzel yet. Still in need of some monies so I can finally buy that fabric for the middle panel of the skirt and the bodice. I am hoping that very soon I will be able to. I would love to start working on her again.

Seifer-Sama: Thanks! I just joined two Arda wigs (Glinda and Luthien in pumpkin), covered all the wig with little braids and curled it with the hot water method. I used braids for a more wavy look and to control the size of the curls.

Loving the progress from everyone! Not much progress from me really, but my swatches arrived for the lining material for my Ariel Seafoam dress (film one) and Tink. The swatch for Tink turns out that the fabric I was looking at is just too dark for original Tink, but kinda perfect for new film version Tink. The two lining swatches I'm really torn on which to pick as I like both and both really bring out the blue in the sparkly fabric lol! I'll put up photos tomorrow.
I also did a make up and wig test for Tink. Photos will be up tomorrow also, but they're a bit naff but thats coz I had to take them on my phone and rubbish light as it was on charge. XD!

I was SOOOOOO lucky today whilst out because the market was open and I found the PERFECT lie green fabrics for Tink!!!! I found lime green velvet for the main dress and this gorgeous soft polycotton in the same color for the lining of it!!!
![]() Also this is my wig and make up test: Make up is very shimmery but my phone didn't pick it up- I also didn't put on any eyeshadow base because I'm running low and didn't have spare until today lol! ![]() OH! And the swatches I got Ariel's seafoam dress with my swatch of the sparkly fabric. I think I'll go with the pale blue lining fabric though, so if the light winds in the evening blow the dress, the same color shows instead of a contrasting color. Th sequin fabric I've already bought and happy with- its just the lining swatches: Lilac: ![]() Pale Blue: ![]()

@ FuriePhoenix Love the fabric for Tink! Not digging the dotted fabric though. That's a personal preference of mine. I'm just not a fan of confetti dot fabric. I think it's gaudy.
Working on: So I finally started on Charlotte. Super jazzed about this cosplay. I've done a bunch of research on it and finally I can sew things! I've got 40 yards of pink taffeta, and I am not afraid to take names! >: D Will post pics when available~

ModernPrincess- thanks, I've already bought the full amount of the sequin fabric for Ariel's film seafoam dress. I just put that swatch with the lining swatches to see which i liked best with that sequin fabric. It's nicer in person and I think for that sparkly dress of Ariel's it's my best choice this side of the atlantic fabric wise. Seriously, it's so hard to find baby blue fabric let alone sparkly baby blue. So I'm going with it, I reckon once the dress is made and the lining put in, it will look fine and pick up the light perfectly for what I want.
