Chibi: It's funny, the crossplay works better with injury makeup than without. Might be the different colors that distract the eye, but the 2pAmerica looks way more boyish than the Count.
For your binding test, I think it looks awesome.

Heeeeey, I have like six posts. I think it's about time I start soliciting people for help! Started working on my Kohaku cosplay, but before I fully commit I figured I'd ask if I could actually pull it off. Don't want to finish it and find I make a really awful teenage Japanese girl.

Any hoo I think you did a good job on your make up. I think your convincing and your binding is great, while I'm new to crossplaying, Aki is my first, I've been cosplaying for a few years. I think that your binding looks natural no lumps or protrusions, a bigger problem when your larger chested like me. I think with out make up that you also look tom boyish. That you could pass for either. I think you make a cute girl and a guy. Honestly if I had to guess I really couldn't figure out if you were naturally a girl if you hadn't mentioned f to m. I'm too feminine so it's hard for me to look really masculine but I think I can pass for boyish, so I can't cosplay any one too masculine I think.

\No wig, minor amounts of makeup (still learning, so not a whole lot going on there) and an attempt at a dude-like expression.

What genres or series that you are interested in? It will help me suggest some good characters for you

Tempest: Miku comes pre-equipped with armtubeglove things, the perfect tool for MtF crossplay.
I think you should try experimenting with a little blush, personally. Not a ton, just a little bit to get a sort of feminine 'glow', I guess you'd say. When I crossplay, I get rid of as much pinkness as possible, so it just seems logical to do the reverse when crossing the other way. But I'm not an expert, so... Yeah. It would also help balance the bright lipstick you wore in the first few photos, I think. The bright lipstick makes your lips look fuller, so I'd say stick with bright.

I'm interested in pretty much EVERYTHING. But for simplicity's sake, how about Disney and Valve games? I've really gotten into those lately.

Do you think I can pull off one of the guys from Team Fortress 2? They're pretty manly, which is kind of daunting for a crossplayer, I think. Much harder than bishies.

Thanks for your honest opinion! Actually, I was not wearing lip stick in any of those pictures, but just lip gloss. It was probably due to the fill flash and post-processing.

I have tried experimenting with blush several times in the past, but I and several others decided that it does not compliment my face well. Maybe I'll do some comparison pics of with and without blush for a better critique, though.

I'm not too experienced and can't comment on makeup techniques, but I think both of you (MagicalStar and epicserendipity) can both pass pretty damn well.
