Okay,
I'm going to cosplay Champion Iris and I was wondering what to do about her wig. I don't even know where to start with it x.x.

Does anyone know of a place that is selling the wig? or does anyone know how I could style a pre-existing wig into this?

Just in need of some ideas ;-;!

Attempting to dye a platinum blonde wig with purple dye will give you a murky brown at best because it's a yellowish color, especially Arda's platinum blonde.

I was told it would work..They don't HAVE the correct length wig that's already in a ponytail in white..That's the lightest color that they make it in..

Uhh just wanted to point out that both the Jeannie and Jasmine do come in "pure white.."

Oh whoops, I mixed that up. It's the clip in that doesn't come in white. So the wig itself could be dyed from white to purple, the clip in I guess can't seeing as what the others' just said..They could setill get the Jasmine and dye it then get a white clip in from somewhere else I guess..

Even then, the wig would end up a light purple and not even close to being a match to Iris's hair color.

Dude yellow plus blue or purple equals to Train Ticket to Nopeville.
It would be a better idea to start with a medium grey, blue or purple wig, then dye it to a more accurate color.

Yeah, definitely do not use anything blonde. Yellow + purple = a gross mess of a color that can maybe be described as brown. I would say start with a Jeannie in dark purple.

If you're going for the same volume as the image, you'll need either extra clips to harvest wefts from, or a second long wig in the same color. Stub the built-in ponytail and use the fibers from the clip-ons/extra wig to build the ponytails around a base, almost like a giant odango. There was a really good tutorial somewhere on this site about making giant ponytails like that, I'll see if I can find it if no one else links to it. Basically, if you want it to look like hers, it's going to get costly and be a LOT of work.

If you aren't as concerned about accuracy, you can make a smaller ponytail that has some of the poof, but not as drastic. Depends on how you want to interpret it.

Well, it's a good thing this thread has people that know more then the one that told me huh..This actually saves my ass. Someone wanted to commission me this and I was told that it would work by someone that does wig styling..So now I know not to do it the way they told me..So I'm sorry for the bad info there I will delete that post. Again, thank you everyone for unknowingly saving me from a commission that would've gone terribly wrong....
