How much fabric do I need?

I want to make one for Daenerys' dresses from Game of Thrones, and because of limited fabrics available in the one fabric shop in my area, I've decided to order fabric online. The fabric I've chosen is charged by the half yard, so I want to know approximately how much fabric I need in yards.

The fabric is 45" and my measurements are B:36, W:27, H:36 and height 5'7

Thanks

It depends on your size, your height, and if the fabric is 60" wide or 45"

This dress has a similar cut for estimating the dress fabric

Then your height would determine how much fabric for the cape.

I agree with digits assessment. I do the same thing when working with no pattern, I find a pattern with roughly the same volume of fabric, look at the requirements for my size, and add a yard just in case.

Thanks for the help I've edited the original post with my measurements and the width of the fabric.

That dress looks like it was inspired by a Roman stola. This might help you find a pattern and/or more accurate yardage recommendations. Is the detail you can see at the shoulders a like a little cape? That could add another yard or two depending.
