What's the best method for giving a wig a bit of sparkles? I'm planning to sharpie dye my wig and I was considering adding some glitter into the dye to give it shine, but I'm not sure if this would be a very bad idea. I also considered using that glitter spray stuff, but I wasn't sure how well it went on, nor if there was one type that was better for wigs than another.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

ah ok. hmm glitter really wont show up in pictures if its sitting in a wig. you might want to put in those hair jewels?

I agree that glitter spray won't be noticeable. However, if you don't want to add jewels, you can carefully and strategically glue large glitter flakes to your wig. Use the picture as a guide.

I thought about doing that too, but I wasn't sure if it would look too over-the-top. Maybe if I could find some small gems it might work though. I kind of just want something that's a little bit sparkly but not super obvious where it over-powers the wig...if that makes any sense, haha.

That's a good idea actually. It might be closer to the look I'm hoping for.

I was think of adding Swarovski rhinestone to her wig and Cotton Candy dress/cuffs as well. Small one with give you sparkle with out them being to large and noticeable.

Might i ask when your doing her? I was thinking her or the Flame Princes for AN'14 for myself as well.

That's a good idea as well.

I'm not 100% decided to be honest. If I have time/funds I might do her for Youma '13, but we'll see. If that doesn't work then possibly AN for myself as well, although I don't know if I'll even be making it to AN '14. Haha, it's all kind of up in the air. If we both end up as Cotton Candy Princesses at AN '14 though, we'll have to get some photos together!
