Hello. My name is Annie Han and I own an Etsy shop called CosplayDesu.
Recently, I came accross this website which not only have stole my photos to commit fraud, but have downright copied Etsy's interface.

They have copied pretty much every photos on my shop. They have cropped out the part where it says 'costume & design by cosplaydesu'.

I am not associated with them and I have e-mailed them asking them to take down the photos but they have ignored my e-mail.
They are using my photos and Etsy interface to commit fraud and I am not the only victim. They have stolen photos from other Etsy shop as well.

It seems like they just regularily visit Etsy to steal photos.
Is there anything that I can do about this? I really don't want to see my work or Etsy to be used for a fraud. I contacted Etsy but they couldn't help.

I'm really sorry to hear that photos of your work have been stolen. You could try a more aggressive watermark to dissuade theft (which is what I intend to do, even if it makes my photos less appealing), but if asking them to remove it did not work, I'm not sure what you could do except request Google to remove them from the search results, but since they're from a place that doesn't respect copyrights, I can't really see that stopping them entirely.

Wow...that's pretty bold to be so downright exact to the original and to use Etsy's interface. I wonder if you could e-mail Etsy to see if they can get the site to change interfacing? That's horrible they are stealing so many people's photos. Unfortunately, it's a growing practice to claim work as your own when it's not.

I don't think there is much to be done. You can probably sue them if they are making money off of the photos of yours, which, if people are buying, I am guessing this is so. I don't know all the legal processes, laws, etc but you might be able to look it up.

It's been months since I notified to Etsy and they even replied to me that they are looking through the problem. But still... that website is up and running
Does anyone know how to take a fradulent website down? The evidence is so crystal clear!

Annie I am so sorry to hear that. I hope everything gets taken care of. What this site is doing is terrible. I'll let my friends know whats going on so they do not purchase from this site.

edit: Wow they really didn't try to change anything. They have the jacket you made me up with my name on it. Just search saya takagi and you'll find it. I'm quite mad now.

Edit 2: theres another site called cosplayallure that has your pics up too. I hope these sites get taken down. I'm sorry that this is happening to you.
