HAI PEOPLE. Hahahaha.
Um, so. I have an issue. I'm 14, and I'm not allowed to wear make up yet. I'm having this issue... I want to MAKE my cosplays, but all the cosplays I can find are either, Skimpy, Heavily armored, or have magical floaty things.... Any ideas for people I could cosplay? ![]()

Perhaps one of the pokemon trainers would work? They're 10 so of course their outfits aren't that skimpy or crazy, a great place to start. Or you could be a hogwarts student, which would actually mean sewing things as opposed to just buying a bunch of things at a clothing store like you could probably do for most of the (simpler) trainers. Also, have you considered gjinkas? If you're up to it you could probably design something based on, say, your favorite pokemon?
Good luck!

I second the Pokemon trainer suggestion. Some of the ones in the games/manga/anime have really cute outfits, or you could even design your own character. Also, any kind of school uniform might be good (Haruhi, Azumanga Daioh, etc). It might seem kind of boring but that kind of cosplay is really good for beginners and a great way to build sewing skills.
