I'm not sure what to start work on next...Asuka from Evangelion 3.0 or Kyoko from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

I don't like deciding new cosplays. It's always the hardest for me.

Finally gained the courage to start planning a Sailor Moon cosplay. Been watching the anime for weeks now and really want to go for it despite a girl who kinda looks similar to me did her school uniform and was called very harsh,racist,and rude names. Must keep my courage up and just do it.

Oooo Asuka Langley is one of my all-time favorites, but my sewing skills prevent me from attempting anything resembling a plug suit, haha! Good luck with whichever you decide to work on!!!

@Brilanna I'm being told to do Asuka (This is the Rebuild Version, and I want to start with her outfit for Eva: Q (Better known as 3.0) which is the jacket, hat, and eyepatch. THAT one shouldn't be too hard, but her actual plugsuit is going to be the one that will take me a long time to work on, so that may be a full year and part of next year project.
And I really don't want to do her test pilot suit, because that one is way too revealing. Poor Asuka. x3

Oh, that's fantastic! I really like her 3.0 suit, definitely easier to construct than the plugsuit, too I'm sure! I bet it's going to be awesome! I'm such an Evangelion nerd... it's one of the first animes I ever watched, so it's near and dear to my heart! (Much like Gunslinger Girl!) You'll definitely have to post pictures once you're done!! (and if we are at the same con, we'll have to get pictures, too!)

Random side note... does anyone know if they've confirmed a date for 3.33 to come stateside?

Not so far, although some good, full camrip with subtitles are up. You can find some on youtube. I've already seen the entire movie that way the SECOND they released a camrip (I was so excited) and it's so awesome.

It might not be stateside until early next year or very late this year.

@Myribee: A Fire Emblem cosplay! Haha, I'm still on such a FE rush lately.

As for Evangelion, I'm ashamed to say that I never watched it. I never found time or a means to, though it always caught my interest.

And yay for samples came in!! They're so pretty, I can't wait to start choosing colors. It's a shame I probably won't be doing Neptune anymore. =( The Mako Green is AMAZING.

I actually had to sit there and remember who was who.. I've been watching way too much sub. Haha, I'm shaming my roots.

I lost my Uranus, I think, and I guess I don't feel right without one. =/ I dunno'. I may just go ahead and make her. I'm also doing Chibimoon/Rini, though I'm doing her Super outfit from the episode where her as Moon switch ages. =D And if I don't do Neptune I'll probably try for Venus, Jupiter, or hrm.. maybe Fighter! xD S/he's from the manga or Sub only.

Oh sorry lol I've been speed watching the dub for a few weeks now so like their English names are all in my head . I'd love to see you as Rini and Jupiter! Would be awesome I need to start collect the manga to find out the other characters I'm missing lol

It's cool, a lot of the same actually! Like Rei is Rei, Mina is just Minako. Amy is Ami. Hotaru is the same.. pretty easy. They also did good on a few names, for example Michelle is Michiru. Kinda' has the same look to it.

The bonus of me being Jupiter is no wig. =P I could be lazy and use my own hair if I wanted to.
