The leather store is called Leather & Sewing Supply Depot and it's at 7 Vanauley St. Not only does it have buckles and grommets and whatnot, but they even have corsetry supplies (like spring steel and spiral steel boning! ) and a decent selection of interfacing - I was able to score some 48" wide fusible canvas interfacing for only about $5.00/m.
It was a lucky find at Trillium buttons, where their sale pile is. They only had 2.5 yards left of it so I guess they just put it on sale to get rid of it. XD I happily bought it, of course. Made a lolita skirt with plenty to spare! Bwahaha.

Thanks for the name/address btw! A friend was asking me about it but I could not remember the name for the life of me. I also didn't realize they had steel boning. =0 Oooh...

My Len's Mill has spiral steel boning with no cases in there bridal section and the plastic stuff pre-cased.
It's in the basement of a nondescript building, but there's a sign on the sidewalk so you can't miss it.

I've never personally been there but has anyone traveled there for fabrics?

I love the Gerrard India Bazaar, although I'm told it isn't as cheap as some other places out in the suburbs. It's easy to get to on TTC though, and there's tons of selection. You can often haggle the stores down a lot if you stick to your guns.

No problem! Yeah, if I remember correctly, the spiral steel comes in 5 yard lengths...can't remember the price but I believe it was pretty reasonable.

I've got a question for those of you in and around the Toronto area - has anyone visited the Toronto location of Len's Mill Store at 66 Orfus Rd? I haven't had a chance to check it out and I was wondering if it was worth the trip (especially when Queen St. W is so easy to get to...).

Actually what would you take via the TTC from Dundas Square to get to the Gerrard India Bazaar?

To get to Gerrard India Bazaar, I go to Coxwell subway station and then take the Coxwell bus south. There are two stops for Gerrard, you want the second one and then turn right onto Gerrard.

You could probably also take the Dundas streetcar all the way east to Coxwell and then walk to Gerrard, but it's probably slower.

I keep forgetting that the Lens Mill at Orfus exists! I'll have to drag my butt out there sometime. It's so out of the way that I always forget about it, like the giant Fabric Fabric out at Keele and St Clair.

How do you get to King Textiles?
I am planning to go there this week for some fabric but I have never been!
What is the best way to get there?

Not sure where you're located - whenever I want to head down I use Google maps to figure out the route and transit King Textile's address is:

161 Spadina Ave
Toronto, ON
M5V 2L6

It's right on Spadina Ave, so if you're coming from Spadina station you can take the 510 streetcar, get off at Queen St. W., then walk there.

Hope that helps!

The subway also stop just above that location as well and 2 blocks over on Osgoode.

I have a supplise question. It's actually about the prop wood sword seller at AN and FanEpox dealers room. The carry other Asian items as well.
Does anyone know the booth name? I want to see what they carry in advance.

I'm looking for a Long Sword or something that looks like a Jian.
