Hello there from Houston Texas!
I decided to join this site since I'm new to cosplay and thought I might be able to get help for stuff here. I did my first cosplay last October at Oni-con as Okabe Rintarou from Steins;Gate. I'm hoping to do him and Araragi Koyomi from Bakemonogatari. Not sure how I'll do Koyomi since I have no sewing experience. I also need to find wigs for both. I'm sure I'll figure something out though. Either way I'm excited to be going to my second con this March. It's Anime Matsuri and it's looking to be a lot of fun. I hope to learn a lot here and maybe someday I can help too.

Welcome!! =) I'm not from Houston, but I'll be at Anime Matsuri for sure. Sewing comes with practice, so just have fun with it. Make a shirt, make some pants, and soon you'll not even remember how hard it was. :3
