I need to do ears for my Sandshrew gijinka and I will start with them today. Not that big of a thing to do, so I should be able to finish them today. It´s a kimono inspired gijinka that I will do.

I finished my tail. I ended up going with what Mitsukai suggested and put wire inside to give it the right shape. I only put poly-fill in the ball part.

I finished the vest for the most part. My buttonhole foot went missing and it's been a really long time since I used it so I have no idea where it could be. I'll probably just buy a replacement.

Now I just need to make the usamimi (the thing that represents the ears) and dye my clip-in bangs and I'm done.

Now I can finally make the ears and tail x3

Unfortunately the wig that I ordered hasnt restock yet but I really hope it'll arrive in time for a convention I planned on going in march >~<

Also bought some felt to make Eevee's ears and tail, can't wait to test everything out when it's completed~

On a side note, I've decided that when I can, I'm going to totally cosplay a Gijinka version of Sylveon, Eevee's new evolution because it's just so damn adorable. >3<

Does anyone have ideas on how to make this Meganium gijinka more extravagant?

My 10 year old cousin is going to cosplay (she's new to this) with me as her and she wants it well... over the top >¬<
She thinks it's too plain ;x

I can't really change the dress part since her mom is altering one of her old dresses so I'm kind of stumped.

My friend is going as Gardenia and I was thinking maybe I would go as Turtwig or any one from its evo line? But I don't really know which Pokemon people automatically associate Gardenia with..

You could embellish the flower parts with dye/glitter/crystals/beads, etc...
Or use a variety of leafy textured materials.
Or learn how to dye fabric with a spray bottle. Make the petals look more like this Disney fairy.

GUYS I just started working on a Sylveon gijinka cosplay that I'll be wearing to Otakon this summer!! I'm so excited to see how this turns out, I love Sylveon so much already <3

I've already finished the design, located the things that I'm buying online (shoes, socks, etc.), picked up a super cute shirt to wear while I was out shopping, and right now I'm just deciding whether I'm going to get a long wig or short wig c:

I think I'll try the beading idea, probably won't be dying anything since when you live in Malaysia there's just no easy way to get them other then ordering online. (To which then the shipping fees will cost a ton OTL)

So I'm drawing wigs on the dolls I use to design my gijinkas, and I can't find a color that looks good on Leafeon. Any ideas? :/
