Body Paint question

Hello,

I plan on cosplaying as magic man from adventure time.

For those who don't know him:

Now the dilemma I have is whether or not to use a bodysuit + body paint or go for full body paint. I am also very new to purchasing body paints and such so if anyone could help me decide on which path to go with that would be very helpful. As you can see it will be a considerable amount of paint on my torso and arms as well as my face, possibly more than a homestucker xD
Whichever side you think is better advice is welcome either way :3

Thanks for dropping by,
Wonreii

Bodysuit, definitely. You would only need to paint your face and neck.

Since he's a cartoon character, I'd go for the bodysuit. Painting your skin will look more realistic, but the character doesn't look like a green-skinned human does. Er, would.
Makeup is more expensive, more time-consuming, itchier, and it wears off around the edges. It also looks exactly like colored skin, which is what I like about it.
