@ kuro-nee: That sounds like fun!! I can't wait to see the finished costume. As for the beard and eating question... I have no idea... I've never thought about it. ^^;

Ok, I have a question for anyone who's planning on cosplaying/has cosplayed Pippin.
What colour is regular travelling cloak? I read somewhere that it's a rust brown so that's the colour mine is, but I've also seen pictures where it looks green or grey. |

![]() Pipping has both his travelling coat and the fellowship cloak. The fellowship cloak is grey and his own travelling coat is green coloured. |

It said "Rust hooded cloak closed with a metal clasp" which means Reddish-Brown for his Pre-Lothlorien Cloak.
Can see it in these Images : http://www.theargonath.cc/pictures/fsmp/fsmp17.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...ple_pippin.jpg http://ssheltonimages.com/img/0c/0c8..._breakfast.jpg Grey Cloak is the Fellowship Cloak which he and rest gotten at Lothlorien.

No problem
![]() Ya, it's always a problem to decide which color to follow : IN the Movie Look from X Scene or Original Color. Thank God for the Fabric Swatch Cards (tho' I wish they labelled them properly to say which part of the costume it came from @_@ ) Even for some costumes, what is seen in the Movie and what visitors see at the Exhibition will turned out differently when seen under normal White Light. And I'm saying this from someone who get to see many of the Exhibition Costumes under normal White Light. ![]()

My friends and I did a 19 person group mainly from Fellowship plus some from Towers. I decided to be the blue orc that wants to eat the hobbits in Towers.
I think you'd all enjoy our skits, we crossed LOTR with Moulin Rouge songs, and did four skits across the competition. My favourite was "Sparkling Weapons" http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=402845123067063 (you'll need to click on the HD symbol) followed by "Fellowship oh Fellowship" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQMt-Ev4GtI#t=1m55s (don't miss the Peter Jackson cameo at the end) Helping write lyrics and choreography for so many people was a blast, and the costumes were simply a joy to look at. All of the skits and photos are listed here: http://os-cordis.deviantart.com/jour...KITS-296568916 I personally loved the hobbits: ![]() EDIT: Regarding cloaks - we contacted the company that made the cloaks for the movies and commissioned them to replicate the grey cloaks from Lothlorien for all of our Fellowship members (plus some who just wanted one, like me ^_^), you can see in the picture above.
