Okay so I'm making a corset that consists of 3 layers- satin, fusible interfacing and coutil (lining). You're supposed
to stitch the whole satin part together (which I've done) and then fuse the interfacing to the lining part. Then you're supposed to stitch the boning onto the interfacing side and then attach the interfacing/lining part to the main satin part. However, I fused the interfacing to the satin
part instead of the lining (that's why you should always read the pattern carefully!) and am now going to have to stitch the boning to the lining instead and then attach that to the satin + interfacing part.
If that's a little confusing to read, basically:
It should be: satin->boning->interfacing->lining
Instead, mine's will be: satin->interfacing->boning->lining
Will that still work? I'm not redoing the whole thing now at this stage, because the con that I'm making it for is in April, plus I've put so much work into this and I don't want to waste all of that. But will it still be okay like this???!
