Older Cosplayers ?
Hello everyone hope your lives are going well over the past couple of cons i have gone to have been alright.
I guess im looking for cosplayers around my age no offense to the others its just been hard the last couple of years to make friends and most cons none of my other friends are not interested. They think im weird because i like to dress up as game or anime characters pretty much what im asking to to hang with a group around my age im not looking for a girlfriend most people think that i find it odd i just want to meet awesome people with the same interest. |

I'm 25, and live at the "gateway to outback Queensland" however I often go to the Brisbane cons. It's good to know I'm not the only older cosplayer here.

I'm 29 and only just started cosplaying in the last 6 months. I'm from the gold coast. I agree there aren't many older cosplayers, and while the young 'ens seem fun, they do have certain traits that are annoying at time (everything is a drama - teenagers!) But it means I don't have to consider the annoying teeny bopper girl characters to cosplay as, because that would horribly wrong.
On the other hand, we do (generally) have more money for costumes than most of them

I'm 24 (25 next month) and have been cosplaying for about 4 years now. I'm from brisbane and I definatly agree with Simetra on the fact that we have more money to make cosplay
 But never any time due to work :S And I wouldn't really think 24 as old in cosplay terms. I know cosplayers that are 30+ and I intend to cosplay right into my retirment home :P. But yeah feel free to pm I always love to talk about cosplaying and video games |

Well I'm 20 this year, and my friend will be 21 ^^; we cosplay together and we're in melbourne. Always looking for people to cosplay with or just discuss! We're actually looking to join or form a group soonish...

 i do agree that teens are abit dramatic, but here seems to be plenty of people here 20+. hope too see u at and a con at some stage <3

Hey guys, I'm 20 and I've never cosplayed before but have been interested in it for a few years now. Never been to a con either, sadly but I am sure they are quite fun.
Actually just brought my first ever cosplay costume on ebay because I can't sew to save my life and would have an extremely hard time if I tried making one for myself at the moment. Oh yeah, I'm from Tamworth. Though originally, I lived in Newcastle. |
