Making Zelda's armor

Hi guys! So I've been commissioned to make some Twilight Princess armor and am dying to get started, only I've hit a block. The gemstones on the pauldrons/belt/chest piece. The commissioner doesn't have the kind of budget that would allow me to take the time to make them all myself, so I'm trying to find a place to buy them and googling like crazy hasn't helped me at all. Any suggestions on where I could find some good crystals? I'm thinking chinese crystals, though acrylic/resin anything of that sort would do too.

Had some info on a site here, but realized none of it was helpful... XD
All I could really find were sites that sold in bulk, which you probably already know about.

I ended up omitting them from my personal Zelda outfit, since I also didn't want to resin cast any nor could I find them online.

Alternatively, you could make them out of sculpey. They won't be translucent or all that shiny, but will convey the idea. Budget costumes must sometimes cut corners.

I think the seller in this thread actually has extra gems she used on her Zelda twilight cosplay build. They are posted in her facebook picture album. KISMET!?
