SO I've done some researching, and A lot of the tutorials I've come across to make Marceline's Ax Bass involve construction insulation foam. I'm not super keen on working with it PLUS I don't have the room or tools to work with it (Like a garage to cut it so my roommates wont be effected by the foam dust) so I'm curious what are good alternatives? It will have to be sturdy but lightweight, fellow con-goers can be a bit, well, rough. This WILL be my first cosplay prop I've made at this size. I really like how this one turned out:
