hey guys we are coming into about 4-5 months before the con. I dont know how many of you were at ala but that gathering was one of the better run ones. Im thinking of creating a set list closer to the con w a list of popular pairings and then only allowing maybe 10 sign ups on site and at the start of the meeting!

Hey I was wondering if there is anyone else that is going to to be doing more up to date versions of the allied and axis characters of the worlds modern wars cause I would like to do a shoot with you if you get the chance. I know that one of these days I will be doing Black Water america, that is why I am asking?

About 99% positive I will be going and I plan to cosplay Nyotalia Austria (day uncertain)-- still not sure if I will go with official art version or a more casual version yet. Most likely I will have a Russia cosplayer and a Prussia cosplayer also attending with me, along with a few others (maybe a Ukraine and Lithuania, too?). Our group kind of sucks at organization.

At our gathering we tend to meet up to take pictures (of individual countries, to famous groups, to fan pairings), talk about hetalia, and just chill with some awesome people. Every once in awhile we play some games (time permiting of course) and some of us even go get dinner together.

I have been going to Hetalia gatherings since 2010. I have cosplayed Philippines in 2010 and America from 2011 til' now. In 2010 to 2011, the gathering place usually is held in front of the LACC aka Gilbert Lindsey Plaza. In 2012, the gathering was held at the stairs near Pico Blvd. Yes, animenerd93, that is what we usually do for gatherings and as America, I have led a large group of cosplayers with a megaphone to the gathering place, which was really fun.
I am cosplaying America (Hetalia: Beautiful World ep 7, the one he takes off Texas from his face and dances) for the 4th of July. Maybe I should bring my megaphone again.

My friend is Iceland and her mom will be Nyotalia! Finland.
So, keep any pairing pictures PG 13 while she's there.

We always try to keep it pg13, soley for the fact that not everyone is comfortable with skinship.
