MetalGearRising Raiden's Suit and Sheath
Okay so my boyfriend just beat MGR and got the suit skin unlocked, just a basic suit with a yellow tie. (Not the best picture, game came out 2 days ago so not a lot of pictures yet of this skin)
http://images.wikia.com/metalgear/images/9/9d/036.jpg As you can see he still has the sheath on the suit but it only attached on his waist. Heres a picture of the sheath http://beefjack.com/files/2010/06/raiden.jpg My question is how could we have the sheath attached to the suit jacket without ruining it or making it look very obvious that its attached? |

I have two ideas.
The first idea I've done before and by attaching a set of nylon web straps to the sword you can safety pin the sheath to the jacket with little issue. Granted from behind you will indeed see it, but it is rare for people to take pictures of your back in my own experience. The second idea I can only think of as a hypothesis as I have only seen it done and have not done it myself. By attaching magnets to the sheath, you can attach the magnets to the belt and it should "attach" to the belt so to speak through the jacket. Hope you guys liked Rising! Saw it got some great reviews and I hope Gamefly sends it my way soon >_<.

I'm in love Metal Gear Rising as well, right now I'm about half way through the game and it's been pretty good so far. Of course I'm also working on extracting models from the game for pepakura usage. It will be a while before anything is ready yet but I think it will help people with making his armor and everything else.
