Hello and welcome to the Shin Megami Tensei//Persona gathering for Anime Expo 2013!! Never seems too early to get this started and know though a lot of time a good range of the cosplays are normally from the Persona games other SMT titles game cosplays are more then welcome to join in as well, as this gathering for all SMT titles. Anyway we had outstanding turn out for 2012 and feel we can do even better in 2013, so if your cosplaying someone from one of the Persona games, Devil Summoner, Catherine, or anything else for AX 2013 feel free to join the gathering!! Also as seems to be tradition for these gatherings there will be a Dark Hour gathering as well, more details about it will come over time.

OMG, yes! Thank you so much for doing this. I was praying there would be other P4 cosplayers at AX13. Dude, that's awesome.

I'll be crossplaying for the first time ever as Yosuke Hanamura (winter casual) -95% complete. For one of the other days, I also plan on going as Chie Satonaka.

As of yesterday, I started working on the school uniform for Yosuke, so I'll have a costume change, and something for multiple days.

This is a great thread. When we all get to the con, we won't be complete strangers.

Anyone know of an event/comic convention, whatever coming up in L.A where I can test drive my cosplay without being seriously out of place? Or solitary? Being alone in stuff like this smells of awkward, and really sucks.

epicserendipity: At the moment there are only a couple of other conventions I can think of that are happening somewhat near LA, you have WonderCon in the Anaheim Convention Center which is happening March 29th-31st and Anime Conji in San Diego on April 12th-14th. Also this Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/Infotakus?ref=ts&fref=ts tends to host cosplay gatherings from time in places like Little Tokyo and other places around LA.

You may count me in as a traditional Yosuke Hanamura in the Yasogami High uniform as well as the winter casual. --complete with hipster shoes.
This will be the first time I've tried cosplaying two outfits in one day. I think I need a bigger phone booth.

Update: I'm still trying to grind down my friend (who's a teacher) to go as Mr. Morooka. I will let you guys know if he finally breaks -- if only to get me to stop pestering him to do it. I shall never quit!
