Idea for a couples cosplay

So my girlfriend and I are trying to think of an idea for a couples cosplay, something from a video game or anime. But have not had any good ideas. So any ideas at all would be helpful.
Here is a bit of info on us.

Her height: 4'11 (So preferable a short character)
My height: 5'6
We are both slim
Neither outfit should show to much skin
The characters should be a real couple

It's a bit vague, so just a list of any ideas helps. Thanks. :3

I'm guessing both of you are girls(I'm VERY sorry if this is wrong) so there are a couple I can give you.
Anime: Blue Flower
Fumi x Yasuko (real couple in anime for a short time)
Fumi x Akira (assumed couple in anime)
Yasuko x Kyouko (couple was was mentioned but was not an active part in the anime)
Anime: sasameki koto
Ushio x Sumika (assumed couple, unrequited love)
Anime: Mysterious Girlfriend
Mikoto x Akira (real couple)
Anime:Myself Yourself
Sana x Nanaka

Those are some couples I know of (some are yuri hope you don't mind) there are height differences in them so I hope this helps

Late response. Nagisa and Tomoya from Clannad sprung to mind. Friends at first, a couple later in the anime.
