Lifelike cat plushie/doll?
Looking for a shop or link to a lifelike black cat doll or plushie. I am cosplaying Yin from Darker Than Black (reference picture) and I think it would be interesting to carry around a prop that is rather lifelike (in size and texture), opposed to carrying around a simple plushie of a black cat. Any suggestions? I am not looking for anything more than $50 or any taxidermy.
The ideal object is something along the lines of a sleeping or sitting cat statue.

Hansa and Folkmanis Puppets both make gorgeously realistic soft toys (Hansa especially), but they would be way out of your price range. Quality costs, I'm afraid.
The only other option I can think of (unless you get lucky on ebay or something, there's always a chance of that!) is to get a slightly less realistic one and hope no one will look too closely. Like, holding a hand over it as if you're petting it on photos, etc.

I think one of those toys you linked may be the best bet. They actually look creepily realistic unless you go to touch them.
But yeah, if you want something floppy and flexible like a plushie, it's going to cost. lol Could make one, but that's a special skill in it's own. |

I gave such a plush kitty to my son since it resemble his black cat. I think it comes from the same maker as the orange tabby cat we used on his Alphonse Elric cosplay (see my gallery). It is online at the Jungle store and at Amazon.com. Changing the ear and eye color would be a closer match.
