Okay but you might want to check out Hopkin Plaza which is behind The Bank of America building. It's is a rather large size plaza with a Fountain,Shade and cool statues that doesn't get the sun on it at the time your looking to do your shoot.

I know which place you're talking about, actually! It is cool, but I don't think it'd be practical to move such a large amount of cosplayers outside.

I mean, if we told everyone to meet there it wouldn't be such a problem? I know the plaza in question, but would it be okay for people to be there for such a long time and not bothering the professional buildings around us, haha. Since we are usually a VERY large group.

It seems like the only option is the fourth floor since you don't want to go outside. I imagine the times are the same as last year..3:14?

Yes you can use the plaza with out bugging the "Professionals" that is the backside of the Federal Court House. I've done quite a few large group shoots over the past few years at the Plaza. Plan on using it for this year Res Evil .

Besides last year when I did a couple of small group stuff over there the "Professionals" all stood around and watch then after came over and ask question about the group.

I have it at 4:13 right now for Fri/Sat and noon on Sunday!

I'm just worried about the heat, more than anything, since our shoots usually run long.

Super excited-- been talking with my friends who shot a MLP cosplay music video at Katsucon, and they sound like they're up for shooting a Homestuck one at Otakon! We have an idea in mind, and I'll be sure to post here once we figure some stuff out. ;D

I didn't make this to make a photoshoot, i'm just asking if anyone is going to Otakon as a Homestuck character on Saturday.

Even if this is my 3rd/4th Con; I tend to be antisocial at Cons and it surprises me because i'm usually not a shy person! I've been trying to make other Homestuck friends and it have been unbelievably hard. ;o;

I'll probably be cosplaying Trickster Jake Saturday, Terezi, or Karkat on Saturday. If I see you, it would be cool! (btw, I m kinda young for a homestuck (14) so I hope it's ok).

Otakon will let you apply for them, but they won't accept them. Otakon doesn't take non-Asian panel topics :C
