Where to buy a fake Chainmail shirt?

I don't want a real, 40lb chainmail shirt. I want a shirt that kinda LOOKS like, or gives the appearence of, chainmail. You know the kind of chainmial shirts that are in those really cheap midevil knights costumes you'd wear for halloween? Something like that. A clothy "chainmail."

Im doing a Link cosplay (from LoZ) and the Twilight Princess version of him wears chainmail underneath the tunic, so for the sake of accuracy, I need this. I'll already be wearing 3 shirts, a sword, and a shield on my torso/back, so I dont really need the extra 30-50lb weight of a REAL chainmail shirt. XD

Anyone know where I can buy a fake chainmail shirt?

FOR YOUR REFERANCE: http://www.instructables.com/id/The-...ainmail-Shirt/
---------------------------This is not an option^

I have tried this, and the paint rubs off on whatever you are wearing over this. It would ruin my tunic entirely.

Google-Fu with the term "metallic sweater"

Fun fact: The chainmail in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail was all just wool sweaters.
