I'm currently working on a female Gordon Freeman suit. (And no, not a slutty version. It will be almost exactly the same). I have yet to see a picture online of one that I really liked, so hopefully it comes okay.

I'm planning on making mine out of EVA foam, using the pepakura files (This method). I tried to straight-up pep it, but I don't have anywhere near that sort of patience, haha.
I really wish there were more HEV Suit cosplays! It seems like something relatively simple to do, yet I've not seen many good ones.  |

I'm currently working on a Black Mesa security guard costume for halloween (and other events). I don't think I could pull of Gordon Freeman, and I didn't want to do a generic scientist. There are already enough of those
 . Right now, I'm in the process of fiberglassing my pep helmet, and ordering the soft parts. At first I thought I would just modify an existing helmet and add the curved part that goes down the back of the neck out of foam or something, but in the end I decided to make one from scratch. I'll make a new thread and post some pics of where I'm at right now. Needless to say, I'm really excited for Halloween! |

I've constructed most of my HEV suit! Just got a couple pieces to add to the back of the chest piece, finish strapping the shin pieces, and clean up the seams a bit, then I can start sealing and painting!
The chest piece!  The thighs!  The shins!  The gauntlets!  I've made all the pieces, but I don't want to get TOO image heavy, haha. How does it look to you guys? Does it need any tweaking? |

Maybe not awkward anymore... after just realizing there were MORE comments than I thought... So I too am wanting to go as Fem Gordon Freeman..... If the many people here... or who still read this don't like the look of my design... I think I'm just gonna go with Alyx Vance...
