Torn Between A Few...

Okay so since I failed to get into comic con this year, I have some extra time to start putting a costume together for either WonderCon, Comickaze, or ALA.

First, a picture of me:

I am torn between a few characters from very different setting and universes, though, and turning to my fellow Cosplayers to see which one you think would be better received. Two are from games and one is from a book. I know that book cosplays can be a hit or miss, but it may be worth a try

Option 1:
Joel; The Last of Us

Option 2:
Geralt of Rivia; The Witcher Series (URL'd for Image size)

Option 3:
Lan Mandragoran; Wheel of Time Series

Interesting choices. I guess it depends on your budget and how much work you want to do. That second character has a lot of detail. But if you made it, it would be very impressive. The first character looks rather generic, but would be potentially way easier to put together. Your third character is a mix of the other two: impressive but probably less work than #2.
All three would require (by my personal standards) hair and makeup work.

Are you particularly invested in any of these characters? Do you want to be recognized? What is weather going to be like at these cons? How are you traveling to them? Lots of questions and things to consider...

All the cons I go to are in my state, usually 1-3 hours drive. For 2 and 3 I would probably resort to using wigs and it boils down (between 2 and 3) whether or not I want to deal with contacts.

I love both Geralt and Lan, but the Wheel of Time has yet to be put into a 1st party film or game, so the only people who would recognize it would be people who have read the books, where Geralt is the protagonist of probably the best but under-rated RPG series of the decade.

not in the middle of a con, there aint :P

I'm a stickler for details. As with my Nathan Drake cosplay, down to the dirt and mud on the clothes.
