Probably so. But try explaining that to the parents who're freaking out because their kid with a heart condition picked some nasty virus. It's ridiculous.

Nearly finished with re-drawing all of the "wigs" on my cosplay designs. Only six more to go.

Just made 135 inches of golden yellow bias tape. It came out a tiny bit skinnier than what I was aiming for, but maybe it'll work out anyway.

So much ironing. .-. I really need a third hand when making bias tape; I have to make do by pinning one end to the ironing board to keep it taught when I press it.

Also, your mileage may vary on this, as it sort of depends on how endowed you are - strapless/adhesive bras may not play nicely with larger chests. If possible, try it on - that's the only way you'll really be able to decide if it'll work for you.

Also, if you sweat, it stays trapped under the silicone against your skin, so it may not be best to wear one for very long periods of time, especially in hot weather or in a demanding costume.

But like Clockwork_Ducky says, your mileage may vary; everyone's body is different.
Thanks for the answers guys. I really wish I knew where you could try one on so I could see if they would work or not since I more or less need it to keep the girls in one place and not move around...

My friend came over to try on her Camellia Luka dress. And she ended up leaving with just a finished headband and choker. I need to remake the WHOLE dress. The old one wasn't fitting her so we cut it apart to see what we could still use(only the white skirt layer is going to be used...) and we had the brilliant idea to take the hoop she got with her Katja dress and use that for this cosplay. So I need to remake the bodice, make a new black skirt under the white, sash and bow. Thankfully I have spring break the week after next week but I need to find time to run to Jo-Anns to get more of the black fabric.

But first...need to make a pattern for the circle skirt and make a mock up...

I'm not sure if there are stores that will let you try them on? Not like picking one up off the shelf and going into a fitting room, anyway. They come all boxed up so that the adhesive doesn't touch anything. The adhesive on the back (and the whole bra itself) needs to be washed with warm water and soap after each wear and left to air dry. You have basically two shots at putting it on in the correct place before the adhesive gets kind of weak from your body oils.

Also - apparently they can melt in warmer climates. So if you're considering wearing them to a con in Summer... you may want to rethink it. That said - they're relatively inexpensive online. I had considered one for my Mab costume... but I'm pretty sure it would melt off in the Atlanta sun.

I've now ridiculously over complicated my costumes, apparently. I just realized that each of my planned or in progress costumes involves some technique/skill that I have learned just for the purpose of that costume. Embroidery, wire and bead crochet, silk painting, knitting. I love that I'm doing things that are new - but even the simple costumes are getting complex because I over think them.

When I was 16 or so, I used to think I would never make gijinka costumes because I wasn't that into Pokemon and I thought that's the only thing you could work with like that. 7 years later, here I am, one gijinka costume made and at least 2 more planned. This is what my favorite game series does to me...

Thanks, isn't it? I'm so sure that it was worth way much more than I actually paid for it, but hey, I'm not complaining!

Speaking of the very same kimono, I'm going to hopefully be sewing that lining tomorrow provided I have some free time in between homework... We'll see. Either way, no shortage of work to get done before May, that's for sure. ^^;

So...I want to start watching K Project since I've heard it's fabulous..but I'm not sure about those cosplay urges.
I'm PRETTY SURE once I watch it it's gonna be between Anna, Fushimi, and Isana (no clue if those are a mix of first and last names or not, but..). Fushimi I'm loving the look of, but wouldn't be suited for at all, Anna I'd like if I could find a costume of her that isn't made of cheap looking velvet, and Isana is basically if I end up really loving his character.

I also want to watch No. 6 and see if I want to cosplay Nezumi, but it seems like that series has gone from a fad and now died. OTL

Currently wondering how the heck I'm going to do the jumpsuit for EVA. ;< I don't really know hoe to use a sewing machine, so I've been hand sewing everything. And I don't even really know how to REALLY sew. I've at least found a close enough pattern on the internet to go from. I'm going to have to learn how to make pockets though, since the pattern is pretty much pocketless... I just..haven't been brave enough to try a sewing machine. I TRIED just buying a really close jumpsuit, but it ended up being ungodly big - the crotch was down to my knees! I tried altering it but LOOOOL I fail. So I just... I don't even know.

@___@ I guess I should finish my Tonberry first though. Gotta buy the faux fur fabric for the hood lining/ trim and finish one more leeve and I should be good to go on that one though.

Actually I think this worked out for the best. The dress is going to look so much better and more regal and beautiful now.

Hmm...slightly tempted on Sunday for Acen to do the final battle version of Film Z Luffy from One Piece where he's loses his shirt. Only thing is it might be cold, not many people will recognize it, and do I really want to run around with no shirt on? XD

4.5 full days left for me to work on cosplays for Sakura-Con.

Probably dropping Erza at this rate, so I can focus on Asuna.

Things left to do: chest armor, boots, make tons of bias tape, sew arm band harness thing, buy new ribbon for skirt, sew skirt ribbon, adjust other sock, construct garter system, fix arm warmers, adjust wig,

I hope that's everything. D:
