Ah, in my opinion, detached sleeves don't seem to work that well for hoodies.
A cloak would be much better. |

@Mitsukai;
thanks for the opinion! It would look kind of weird for a fleece hoodie + lighter fabric sleeve combo... |

You're welcomed ^^
I've just never seen hoodies with detached sleeves, and when I tried to picture it, it just looked really weird... As for the hair, maybe green short base with red twintails? Last edited by MitsukaiEievui : 03-18-2013 at 02:17 AM. |

Gengar or Haunter would be an easy Matryoshka design.

@Yavarice
I like what you did with the hands/fingers~ So adorable >w< @oreburgh I'm guessing by Matryoshka you mean the Vocaloid song? If so maybe Gyarados, or any Pokemon with a crazed face would look amazing~ |

@yavarice
Did you use a yellow hoodie as a base and sewed on the other parts or did you make the entire thing from scratch? Also what materials did you use? |

Thanks all! I wore it out to PaxEast Friday this weekend and many people loved it =D
@oreburgh It was scratch made from microfleece for the yellow and polar fleece for orange. (I would have preferred microfleece all around but couldn't get the orange colour) But I did use a commercial pattern to make the hoodie base itself, then sort of eyeballed the shape of the ears and attached them on as with the buttwings and fingerclaws. |
