noob looking to dress up with a group

Hi there fellow Anime Boston goers! I have found that cosplay has a greater impact when a whole group of characters go together. For example, I was thinking of going as Ed from Cowboy BeeBop. But it would look better if I hung out with Spike and Faye and Jet. So I was wondering if there were any character groups going that might be missing a character. I fit best as younger smaller characters such as Ed, or Haruko Haruhara from FLCL, or Meryl Stryfe from Trigun. I could also dig playing someone like Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Is there a place for me?

Hello!

I'm not sure if your familiar with the Anime Boston forums, but here is a link that shows all the groups and gatherings going on threw the weekend. You can always just pop in a thread that looks good to you and say hi.
