Yuna Lady Luck help

What's the best way to go about doing the part of the dress that goes from pink to purple for Yuna's Lady Luck outfit? I was thinking about cheating and just doing the purple as it's own section and sew it at where the pink would end. But would that look strange or is dying fabric not as hard as it looks? And if so, what fabric works best then?

You need to do a method of graduating dye. I can't for the life of me find what I need, but I'm sure someone else will be able to help.
There are tutorials out there for Padme's rainbow Lake Dress from Star Wars, you'll basically follow something similar.

And, yes, it would look very odd having just two different coloured fabrics sewn together, when it's meant to be gradual.

I'll look into it. My back up idea is to do the Trainer outfit, but I wanna do something a tad bit more challenging and a little more reveiling since I always do conservative cosplays. This is my "steping out of comfort zone" cosplay XD

It's not a hard method, you just need to do your research first (and read up on what went wrong for others), and make sure you do it on a day where you don't have any other distractions so that you can focus on the process.
