Just casually reading this book as I wait for the 3rd season of Sherlock to air ;;
I also recently bought a Moriarty bookmark at Katsucon and gosh, it's absolutely perfect to use for this book.
I could sure use a bookmark like that ;A;

Just started Frankenstein.

Yep. I read Bunnicula in twenty-five minutes for my thesis.
It was pretty adorable.
I love that series and the short stories after.

Wait, what? Do you mean Thursday, or has he written a new book about her son Friday?

Finished The Signal and the Noise. Now reading Boomerang by Michael Lewis.

Yes, I mean Thursday. I just want to call her Friday. It's called "The Woman Who Died a Lot". Ties off a lot of points and opens new ones.

Yay! I didn't know there was a new one. I'll have to pick it up.

I read that, and King Rat waaaay back over 10 years ago. But I haven't kept up. Out of curiosity, I went to his website and he's a teacher in residence here in Chicago, at a university less than 2 miles from my apartment. o_O ...methinks it's time to do some catch up reading.

I'm re-reading Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicals. Previously I had only read Interview With A Vampire, The Vampire Lestat and Pandora. I'm on Queen of the Damned right now and plan to continue them. I find Lestat hilarious in his own weird twisted way. His thought process runs a lot like mine..endless stream of babbling with a snarky aside or two.

I'm also reading the Harry Dresden books. I finished Blood Rites and am trying to hold off on getting the next one until after I finish Queen of the Damned. It helps that it's currently out of stock at our local bookstores..lol

The Shining, Dreamcatcher, Star Wars: Heir To The Empire (second read through). On deck: World War Z (second read through. I need some suggestions for others. Definitely want something with a little more substance than a Stephen King novel or a Star Wars book. Might try re-reading The Inferno. I loved it the first time in high school.

Just finished Stardust by Neil Gaiman, and I really enjoyed it. I've read two other books by him before this and didn't like them nearly as much, despite really liking his writing style. I'm glad!

I'm going to read Batwoman volume 2 before I start a new book. I'm thinking it'll be either one of the few remaining Murakami novels I haven't read, or an older classic like a Narnia or Oz book.

This time last year I had read more than 15 books and I'm only at 6 so far for this year. Oops. I'll catch up on my reading goal, I swear!
